How Much Does an Aesthetic Clinic Website Cost in India? (2026 Guide)

Real 2026 pricing across three tiers — from ₹15,000 template builds to ₹5+ lakh custom platforms. What each tier delivers, the hidden fees most quotes don't mention, and how to evaluate agency quotes.

Ask five agencies to quote a clinic website in India, you'll get five different numbers spanning ₹15,000 to ₹5 lakh.

None of them will explain what actually drives that range.

That's not because agencies are hiding something (mostly). It's because "clinic website" is a category that covers everything from a four-page template with a contact form to a custom platform with WhatsApp booking, patient records, treatment catalogues, DPDPA-compliant consent flows, and multi-location support.

This guide breaks down real 2026 pricing across three tiers, based on what our Chennai studio has actually charged over eight years and 100+ clinic and aesthetic-brand builds. Plus the hidden costs most quotes don't mention.

If you're evaluating agencies, use this to understand what's reasonable — and what's a red flag.

What actually drives cost

Four variables determine 90 percent of clinic website pricing in India:

  1. Scope of features — brochure site vs. platform vs. custom software
  2. Level of customization — template adaptation vs. from-scratch design
  3. Integrations — WhatsApp Business API, booking systems, payment gateways, CRM
  4. Content and photography — do you provide it, or does the agency source it

Everything else is smaller line items. If your quote doesn't break down these four, ask for a revised version that does.

Tier 1 — Starter (₹15,000 to ₹75,000)

The template-based build. Suitable for solo practitioners or new clinics with a small budget validating market fit.

What you get:

  • 4–6 pages (Home, About, Treatments, Contact, plus 1–2 optional)
  • Responsive template design (WordPress + purchased theme, or Elementor page builder)
  • Basic on-page SEO (title tags, meta descriptions, sitemap)
  • Contact form
  • Google Maps embed
  • Standard social media integration

What you don't get:

  • Custom design (you're adapting a theme)
  • Advanced schema markup (JSON-LD for AI answer engines)
  • Custom booking integration
  • Content writing (usually you provide)
  • DPDPA-compliant consent frameworks (often ignored — problematic)
  • Performance optimisation for 4G

Timeline: 2–3 weeks. Fits: solo practitioners, new clinics validating market. Doesn't fit: clinics doing 20+ bookings a week or planning to scale.

Tier 2 — Standard (₹75,000 to ₹2 lakh)

Where most established clinics should land. Custom design, real content, proper structure.

What you get:

  • 8–15 pages including individual treatment pages
  • Custom design (not a template)
  • Comprehensive on-page SEO plus schema markup (LocalBusiness, Organization, FAQ)
  • WhatsApp-first booking flow (deep links, canned responses)
  • Consent-first before/after gallery framework
  • Content writing (guided by your team)
  • Team and clinic photography direction (coordinated with your photographer)
  • DPDPA-compliant privacy and cookies flow
  • Performance optimisation (Lighthouse 90+ target)
  • Google Analytics 4 plus Google Tag Manager setup

What you don't get:

  • Real-time booking with staff calendar sync (that's Custom tier)
  • Custom software (patient records, EMR)
  • Native mobile app

Timeline: 4–6 weeks. Fits: established clinics, 20–100 bookings per week. Doesn't fit: multi-location groups needing centralised bookings.

Tier 3 — Custom (₹2 lakh to ₹5+ lakh)

Platform territory. Custom software wrapped in a clinic website.

What you get:

  • Everything in Tier 2
  • Custom booking engine with staff calendar sync
  • Patient records or basic EMR (with practitioner login)
  • Multi-location or multi-practitioner support
  • Loyalty program integration
  • Payment gateway (for consultations or advance booking)
  • WhatsApp Business API integration for automated flows
  • Custom admin dashboard
  • Ongoing feature development for first 6 months

Timeline: 8–16 weeks (custom software timeline). Fits: multi-location groups, chains, franchised practices. Doesn't fit: solo practitioners (overkill).

Monthly maintenance costs

Rarely discussed upfront. Ask before signing.

Standard monthly costs in India (2026):

  • Managed hosting — ₹500 to ₹5,000 (depends on traffic and features)
  • Domain renewal — ₹800–1,500 per year
  • SSL certificate — usually included with hosting, otherwise ₹1,500–5,000 per year
  • Content updates (per your request) — ₹500–3,000 per hour, or fixed retainer
  • Security patching — ideally included with managed hosting
  • Backup — should be included; if not, add ₹500–2,000/month

Total: ₹1,500 to ₹10,000 per month, depending on tier and update frequency.

Hidden costs to watch for

Not always quoted upfront:

  • Content writing — if agency provides: ₹500–3,000 per page
  • Professional photography — ₹15,000–1,00,000 for a clinic shoot
  • Video content (walkthrough, testimonials) — ₹25,000–2,00,000
  • Copywriting for treatment pages — ₹500–2,000 per treatment
  • Google Business Profile setup — often free from agency, sometimes ₹5,000–15,000
  • Google Analytics 4 + GTM setup — should be included in Tier 2+, ₹5,000–10,000 if separate
  • SEO campaign (post-launch, ongoing) — ₹15,000–50,000 per month depending on scope

What Baptist Digitek charges

Because transparency matters, here's roughly where our pricing lands.

Tier 1 clinic websites — we generally don't take these projects. We're not the right agency for the template tier. Try Wix or a template-focused local agency.

Tier 2 clinic websites — ₹1 lakh to ₹2.5 lakh depending on scope. 5-week timeline. Includes design, content strategy, DPDPA compliance, WhatsApp integration, launch and 30 days of post-launch support.

Tier 3 clinic platforms — quoted per project. Typically ₹3 lakh to ₹8 lakh. 12–16 weeks. Custom booking, patient records if needed, multi-location support.

Monthly managed support — ₹2,000 to ₹10,000 depending on update volume. Most clients stay with us multi-year on support.

See our social and creative packages for standalone monthly retainers (starting ₹5,000/month).

How to evaluate quotes

Red flags:

  • No breakdown by scope + design + integrations + content
  • No mention of DPDPA compliance or consent framework
  • "SEO included" without specifying what (schema? content optimisation? off-page? campaigns?)
  • No monthly maintenance discussion
  • No performance target (Lighthouse score commitment)

Green flags:

  • Line-item quote with time estimates
  • Written project brief before quoting
  • Portfolio of actual Indian clinics (not generic sites)
  • Includes performance and accessibility standards
  • Explains monthly costs and support upfront

Cost isn't the deciding factor. Fit is. A ₹5 lakh custom platform is wasted money if your practice does 15 bookings a week. A ₹30,000 template site is a bottleneck if you're planning to scale to four locations.

Ask each agency: what would you build for me specifically, and why? If they can't answer without asking about your practice first, keep looking.

WhatsApp us if you want an honest, non-obligation quote for your clinic. We'd rather tell you Baptist Digitek isn't the right fit than sell you something you don't need.

Frequently asked questions

Why the huge price range for clinic websites in India?

"Clinic website" covers everything from a 4-page template with a contact form (₹15,000) to a custom platform with WhatsApp booking, patient records, DPDPA-compliant consent flows and multi-location support (₹5+ lakh). The range reflects real scope differences, not agency premium — a template site takes 2 weeks; a platform takes 16 weeks. Ask each agency to break down scope, design, integrations and content separately.

Is a WordPress clinic website OK, or do I need custom code?

WordPress works well for clinic websites in the Starter and Standard tiers, especially with page builders like Elementor. It's less appropriate for Custom tier platforms with real-time booking, patient records or multi-practitioner logic — those benefit from custom code or headless architecture. If your clinic does under 50 bookings per week and doesn't need EMR features, a well-built WordPress site serves you fine.

How do I know if I need Standard tier or Custom tier?

You need Custom tier if any of these apply: multiple locations needing centralised booking, more than 3 practitioners with distinct calendars, patient records or EMR integration required, custom loyalty or subscription programme, or WhatsApp Business API automation. If none of these apply, Standard tier (₹75K–₹2L) is enough — and Custom tier would be overkill.

Are there ongoing costs after launch?

Yes. Expect ₹1,500 to ₹10,000 per month for managed hosting, security patching, backups and standard content updates. Domain renewal (~₹1,200/year), SSL (~₹1,500–5,000/year if not included), and occasional feature updates or SEO campaigns are additional. Get the monthly cost quoted upfront — agencies that skip this conversation are the ones you'll have surprise bills with.

Should I pay for photography separately or ask the agency to include it?

For clinic interiors, team headshots and treatment rooms, coordinate with your agency — they'll direct a professional photographer (₹15,000–1,00,000 for a Chennai clinic shoot). For before/after gallery photography, keep it in-house with your clinical staff — DPDPA consent workflows require it. Never use stock photography for clinic marketing; it undermines trust more than a smaller custom shoot.
